This very special book is 24 (8-1/2"x11") pages and in full color. This guide will be jam packed with content and will offer insight into the various cards and history behind the First Punic War. The book was written by the designer, Daniel Berger.

Dan has included multiple game variants, an F.A.Q. section, a designer notes section, and last but not least a history of the turbulent times in which this epic conflict took place. This book also takes a detailed look into the history behind the time period and events used on the cards within the game. The rich, diverse history of the First Punic wars is also briefly covered in this book.
